Frequently asked questions about our services.
1
What are lash extensions?
Lash extensions are ultra-fine synthetic lashes—either individual or fanned out—that are professionally attached to your natural lashes (never on the skin or glued to multiple lashes). They add length, volume, and definition, helping to open up and elongate the eyes without the need for mascara.
2
What types of lash extensions do you offer?
We specialise in:
-
Classic Lashes
-
Hybrid Lashes
-
Volume Lashes
Each style varies in fullness and texture to suit different preferences and eye shapes. Rosana, your award-winning lash stylist, will recommend the most suitable set based on your desired look and your natural lash condition.
At Dejavu Lashes, we only use ultra-lightweight, high-quality extensions that protect the health of your natural lashes for longer-lasting, comfortable wear.
3
What are the lash extensions made of, and what colours are available?
Our lashes are made from lightweight, soft, synthetic, hypoallergenic fibres.
We offer a beautiful range of four brown shades:
-
Toffee Brown
-
Chocolate Brown
-
Chestnut Brown
-
Honey Brown
These shades range from cool nudes to warm tones, allowing us to match your lash colour to your hair or desired aesthetic. We also offer classic black if preferred.
4
How do I book an appointment?
All bookings must be confirmed via our online booking system. A 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is payable on the day of your visit.
If you book by phone, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to finalise your booking by entering your card details and paying your deposit. Unconfirmed appointments may be cancelled without notice.
5
How long do lash extensions last?
With proper aftercare, your extensions can last 5–6 weeks. However, we recommend infills every 2–3 weeks to maintain a full, clean look, as your natural lashes shed and grow. During infills, we remove any outgrown extensions and replace them with fresh ones.
6
What should I do on the day of my lash appointment?
For the best results, we ask that you:
-
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes
-
Remain as still and relaxed as possible during the treatment
-
Avoid talking or moving your head during the lash application
Movement or opening your eyes may cause discomfort, as lash glue can irritate if exposed to the sensitive eye area.
7
Do you offer foreign infills?
Yes, we do offer foreign infills (filling lashes applied by another salon). However, this is only possible if the previous work is in good condition.
At your appointment, we’ll assess your lashes. If the existing set isn’t suitable to work with, we’ll advise a removal and full set instead. In this case, your deposit remains non-refundable.
Not sure if your lashes qualify?
Send us a clear photo of both eyes—open and closed—via WhatsApp at +44 7490 340 830 or email booking@dejavulashes.com before booking.
8
Do I need a patch test?
Patch tests are optional. They are not 100% reliable due to the short exposure time, but we offer them 24–48 hours prior to your first appointment if requested.
⚠️ If you’ve experienced an allergic reaction to lash glue or extensions in the past, we strongly advise against having lashes applied again.
9
Do you offer consultations?
Yes! We offer a complimentary consultation to help you choose the perfect lash style and address any questions before your appointment.
10
Do you offer bridal lashes?
Absolutely! We specialise in bridal lashes and recommend the following schedule:
1. Trial Set (2–3 weeks before your wedding)
This allows time to test the style, check for sensitivities, and make any adjustments to length, curl, or volume.
2. Infill Appointment (2–3 days before the wedding)
We’ll refresh your lashes so they’re at their best for your big day—and still have time for tweaks if needed.
11. What is your cancellation policy?
11
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. You can manage your appointment using the “Manage” link in your confirmation email.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the deposit being non-refundable.
12
What happens if I’m late?
We understand that life happens!
-
If you’re up to 15 minutes late, we’ll do our best to complete your treatment within the remaining time, though lash coverage may be reduced.
-
If you’re more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled automatically, and your deposit will be forfeited.
